JEWISH HERITAGE IN EUROPEAN CULTURE

Who?

The programme is addressed to teachers of all levels, historians, sociologists, experts in political and media studies, linguists, local government officers, persons employed in various types of cultural institutions and those who wish to know more about Jewish culture and Judaism.

Where?

The meticulously designed classes lasting 2 semesters will be conducted chiefly by the researchers from the Department of Culture of European Judaism at the AMU Institute of Culture in Gniezno, all of whom collaborate with international centres in which Jewish thought is studied and explored.

AMU Institute of European Culture boasts state-of-the-art, functional and well-equipped facilities (academic building, library, sports hall, cafeteria, students’ hall).

Enrolment

Classes begin in October 2015 and will be held every two weeks on Saturdays and Sundays. This post-graduate programme is available to graduates of long-cycle (unified) master’s studies, as well as first- and second-cycle studies in all fields. Prospective participants are admitted based on the order of submitted applications until all places have been filled. Period for submitting applications begins on June 15th , 2015.

Required documents:

  • completed application form (available from IKE website)
  • photocopy of higher school (bachelor or master’s) diploma
  • one photograph (ID format)
  • copy of ID

Fee:

One-off payment in the amount of PLN 1,700 or payment in two instalments at PLN 850 each.
