STUDENTS OF EUROPEAN COMMUNICATION ARE THE NEW PEOPLE IN ARTS & HUMANITIES

European Communication is a new generation of Humanities. Their greatest asset lies in interdisciplinarity. Studying with us, you acquire knowledge in such areas as language studies, legal studies, political studies, history, cultural studies and technology. European Communication combines tradition with contemporary content, gives you a sound theoretical and practical foundation and prepares you to face the challenges of the 21st century.  Above all, you have the opportunity to shape professional capabilities on your own.

Over the period of three years, you will be improving your skills in two European languages and learn the basics of translation studies.

COMMUNICATE WITH EUROPE

You will learn how to manage an organisation, communicate in difficult situation and develop marketing communications. As a result, you will master Europe’s most recent challenge – building effective, respect-based relationships in the contemporary, multicultural world.

Not only will you get to know traditional cultural texts; guided by theoreticians and practitioners, you will journey into the 21st century and learn how to read contemporary popular culture as well.  The unique skill of its critical assessment has now become a part of indispensable professional competences in the job market.

Knowledge of copyright and international law will open new professional opportunities.

In the course of workshops, seminars and lectures you will get to know how new e-communications are composed, typeset and edited.

STUDIES WORTH THE WHILE

Studying at the Institute of European Culture means learning in an international company, and having the opportunity to attend lectures delivered by professors from numerous foreign universities. This way, you will discover the circumstances and conditions behind European communication in a direct fashion.

Research trips abroad will give you the chance to gain a greater knowledge of the world.

Also, there is always a chance of participating in the Erasmus+ programme, and receive EU scholarship to study one or two semesters at a university in Switzerland, Italy, Germany or Spain.

STUDY THE EUROPEAN WAY

In the course of five years, you will live and acquire knowledge at a state-of-the-art university campus.

Student apartments consist of one- or two-person bedrooms and a small living room with a kitchenette. Each apartment has its own balcony and free internet access. In this area of the campus, you will also find the cafeteria, club, sports field and a sports hall with a gym. The building of the Institute comes with modern, well-supplied library, cinema hall, seminar rooms and auditorium. The auditorium is equipped with a system for simultaneous translation, while thanks to teleconferencing students in Gniezno listen to lectures delivered in the far sides of the world.

Despite the luxurious conditions, studying in Gniezno is cheaper than in the large cities.
